Installation and Care
- A detailed Installation Guide will accompany shipments of Glass Connectables and Art Glass Mosaics tiles.
- Glass is not tempered.
- Glass tiles should be installed in interior applications only, should not be immersed in water or located adjacent to sources of extreme heat or cold.
- Glass tiles should be installed by a tile setting professional with prior experience installing glass tiles.
- We recommend adhering Edgewater Studio glass tiles with high performance, lightweight, flexible mortar such as MEGALite Crack Prevention Mortar.
- We recommend the use of sanded grout. Do not use unsanded grout with glass tiles as cracking may occur due to shrinking. Do not use epoxy grout due to low flexibility.
- To avoid scratching, cleaning of tiles during and following installation must be done cautiously, with a clean, damp cloth, free of debris and solvents. For a more thorough cleaning, and to remove stubborn dirt and stains, use any of the non-abrasive and non-acidic cleaners available through home centers.
- Care should be taken to ensure that glass tiles do not come into contact with solvents or solvent-based products.
- Information on stone tile maintenance will accompany your order.
