Karen Sealy’s Small and Special Laundry Room

For those of you who might have missed it, Toronto designer
Karen Sealy, of Sealy Design Inc and host of Summer Home on HGTV, profiled her recent laundry room reno on CityTV’s CityLine.

Here are a couple of pics that Karen forwarded to us. Karen was working with a small space. Rather than keeping it enclosed, she opened it up, included practical storage where you would least expect it, and made a typically utilitarian room visually inviting. We just LOVE the roughened wood contrasted against the whispy sheers, glass hooks and tiles. And what a great example of how adding a small area of special tile can make a big design statement.
