December 18th – oh my gosh. At this time of year, our personal “to-do” list becomes one with our business list. Being ever-so-slightly behind the 8 ball, we decided this weekend to update the list, check it twice…..

Here is where we stand as of 8 a.m., Sunday morning, December 18th:

1. All gifts purchased? – Not even close
2. Presents wrapped? – See above
3. Large quantities of “decent” and “good” food in the house (words in quotes as defined by teenagers – so nothing decent or good about it) – To be delegated to the next complainer
4. Home decorated? – No, but note that I have found my inspriation photo. Having that exact house would also be nice…..
5. Greetings cards written and sent?- Um, no
6. Blog recently updated? – Well, how do you define “recently”?

Time for action! The first two items can wait. After all, there are 7 entire shopping days remaining. So we have decided to tackle the embarassing gap in our blog post as a first priority.

Lindsay Levin and Cristina Menz, principals of Love Design Company, produce a great lifestyle and design blog. It’s entertaining, informative, full of terrific images, and certainly communicates personalities (energetic and fun) and tastes – “achievable” glamour, a touch of classic patterns, a dash of colour – all of which happens to be right up our alley.
